There are numerous solutions and methods that all promise to cure nail fungus. Unfortunately, only a few of them really work. Sure, there are also prescription drugs that seem to be very effective, but careful, some of them may have severe side effects and cause liver damage.
There is no need to risk your health in order to get rid of nail fungus. It only takes the right method and a little bit of patience.
So, let's have a look at what I think are the most effective ways to cure nail fungus:
- Citrus fruit juice nail fungus cure
As we all know, the juice of citrus fruits is very acid, however most people don't know that it's one of the most effective weapons against nail fungus. Simple put a bit of lemon juice on your infected nail several times a day and do this for 4-6 weeks. This will kill all bacteria and no further treatment will be required.
- Vinegar diluted in water
Vinegar has strong antifungal properties and has proven to be a very effective nail fungus cure. This works especially well for mild fungus cases. For more severe cases, I recommend the method listed above.
To make this work, take 2 parts of hot water and mix it with 1 part of vinegar. Bathe your infected nails in this solution for about 10 minutes once a day and repeat the procedure for 3-4 weeks. If your skin becomes irritated, simply add more water to further dilute the solution.
- A combination of tea tree oil and lavender oil
This is also an excellent way to get rid of nail fungus. Both oils have strong antibacterial properties and make it impossible for nail fungus to survive if applied on a regular basis for several weeks.
You need to mix equal amounts of olive oil, lavender oil and tea tree oil. Then it's best to put the solution on a clean cotton pad and fix it around the infected nail. It's best to repeat this procedure twice a day for 3-4 weeks.
All of the solutions provided here are easy to use and they don't have any side effects. You just need to make sure to be persistent with the treatment in order to get rid of nail fungus.
