Internet Marketing At Christmas Time

Will you find the perfect SEO plan under your business Christmas tree this year? Probably not, although implementing search engine optimization strategies during the holidays does present some challenges, there are some strategies you can mix in with a little cheer.

Some of the more obvious stocking stuffers would be discounted rates for the holidays, red and green tag discounted services, new years coupons and so on. All of these are of course are conventional ideas that are implemented at this time of the year, my idea though not a paradigm in any way or fashion but still not practiced very much anywhere if at all, is to give away my service to a small business that is struggling and could use some help.

This was not a plan I devised and flow charted out with timelines and resource planning etcetera but came to me out of the blue, I found my victim, err, object of my affection off Craigs-list offering to barter service for service, I replied to his post and offered my service, my intention was to fulfill my part, but decline his half of the agreement. I have so far fulfilled half of what I said I would do and will fulfill the other half sometime over the next two weeks.

I have not divulged my complete plan as of yet with my XMAS exchange partner, but will when I complete the transaction, I did hint however in my last email by ending the correspondence with a "Merry Xmas and a Happy Birthday" endearment. I have been on a spiritual pilgrimage of sorts this year and thought I would make this part of that goal as well.

I feel good about doing it, I am still not sure where in the end I am going with this, will this sprout a karmic reaction?, will I be repaid with opportunity two fold for my generosity, I don’t know, or if that’s the way things of that nature work, I am traveling new ground here, I have been preaching a new thought and new age mind set and truly believe that how we approach business and business integrity, business transaction and a new way of looking how commerce should be handled in this Aquarian Age.

I believe we need to put profit at least second to the value we wish to exchange in our desire to create a successful business, I am starting to believe by putting profit second and value, integrity and faith first, that the payback will follow automatically without effort, by providing what you promise and even putting a little more after that will pay for itself with loyalty and an eagerness to fulfill the payment of services promptly and with eagerness and gratefulness. This would be the ideal business transaction between customer and vendor at its highest ideal.

The goodwill this would create would catch on like firewood and ignite a relationship between business and consumers like nothing ever before in history, it would be a miracle. Is this the folly of dreamers, I think not, I believe this is what the universe would have us behave like. It’s a win-win scenario, why wouldn’t or shouldn’t it be so, is it so unimaginable, again, I think not.

This would be a great way to start the year off just remember you heard it from Vital Computer Services first, if this even caught on as just a seasonal tradition the difference it would make can justify the effort, this would be representative of what I think true Global commerce should be, and if you believe in a Universal intelligence, what the ideal of global consumerism and business should be all about.
