The Belling range cooker may be one of the most versatile white goods ranges: with something for everyone, depending on which model you choose.
When you buy white goods for your home you want a bit of choice. The kitchen, after all, has become a bit of a style haven over the last 10 or 20 years: and so you want to be able to choose something that gives you aesthetic as well as functional options. The Belling range cooker is a classic example of both: style that fits several faces, and functionality that can be specified in advance.
Belling produce several "types" of range cooker: broadly speaking, professionally attired cookers that operate on the normal wide and packed policy of pro standard ranges; home styled cookers with a little less width but still side by side oven options; and retro styled cookers that operate on a one above, one below principle: basically with range stylings but a more conventional oven and grill set up.
One thing that strikes you immediately when you start looking at the full scope of Belling’s white goods offerings: they are not white. The Belling range cooker is available in bright enamelled colours; in modernist steel; or in a selection of greys and black suitable for most kitchen environments and most overall home styles.
Belling offer a large selection of 90 cm width range cookers: allowing the home owning public to choose according to their own requirements, rather than according to what happens to fit in the hole they have reserved for a cooker. That means a choice of either side by side ovens, or a more usual one up, one down arrangement, where a single oversized oven and a grill come underneath six hobs. If you don’t see the need for a second full size oven, but like the extra hobs available on this type of Belling range cooker, you can have the best of both world installed in a standard 90 cm wide aperture. If, on the other hand, you want to be able to juggle the various parts of, say, a seasonal festive meal; and to be able to keep everything warm at different temperatures: then Belling can supply you with a side by side range cooker that still fits your 90 cm wide gap.
The appearance of each item of white goods from Belling has been cleverly tuned to its functions. So you’ll get a nice bright red number in the one up, one down, oversize oven and single grill range cooker; while a wide range cooker, complete with wok burners, cast iron hob rings, warming areas and so on, will be finished in a surgical brushed steel look.
Of all the domestic appliances available for the home and light use pro crossover market, the Belling range cooker probably has the most incarnations and so the most niches. If you’re looking to fill a larger kitchen with a truly impressive professional style oven, then Belling’s larger white goods will fit your bill nicely. If, on the other hand, you are more interested in having a good quality range style cooker, but with a more normal oven setup: then the retro themed Belling range is the one for you.
