Have you ever wondered whether there is a meal that could be qualified as the healthiest in the world? In that case, I will tell you that the answer is easier than you may think.
Considering that our physical body is compounded mainly of water (about 80%), then it is quite reasonable to deduct that the healthiest "meal" we can have is pure and clean, mineral water!
For whoever could disagree on that, I will try to prove it: Just think how much time could we remain alive without crunching anything between our teeth? (i.e. without eating something solid). Possibly a few weeks or even one or two months for those who are strongest… Now, how much time could we stay alive without drinking a single drop of water? A week?…
Some could say that they have had no water at all for weeks or even months, but that is not exactly so. Water is found in every nutrient we are having everyday, and most of the time it is the main component. We would be astounded to know how much water are we "eating" when having salad, vegetables and fruits.
For this reason, many acknowledged nutritionists recommend to drink, at least, two liters of plain water each and every day. I fully support this advice since water is the best restorer for our physical body that can ever be.
Another tip: water should be taken between meals, when there is no digestion at work. The reason for this is that, in some cases, a great amount of liquid makes digestion difficult and heavy.
For some people it can be difficult to drink several glasses of plain water if they are not particularly thirsty. We can use a trick in this case: sometimes we say we are hungry (even is we had a good lunch two hours before); that is a good moment to drink our half-liter water. It is very likely that, after doing this, we will realize that we are not "hungry" anymore.
This is also a good practice for those people who want to lose weight. Instead of eating cookies and sweets, let us "eat" sound, pure and balanced mineral water to restore and refresh all the cells in our body.
To summarize, drinking as much mineral water as we can, will help us to keep our body fit and active as we need it to be. In addition, drinking much water can aid us to lose excess weight… in some cases at any rate.
