Networking is important for human beings as well as for brands. Human networking is already a set norm that has been followed for all these years. Brand networking evolved much later after human networking. Brands that are continuously launched in the market need to be networked with its potential customers. Advertising plays a significant role while networking brands and customers, Brand owners adopt many ways and mediums of advertising to network with their target customers. Advertising Network is important for brand owners to communicate with their potential customers or decision makers (who play an important role in making their brand business a successful practice).
Outdoor Advertising, Print Advertising, Airport Advertising, Television Advertising, Radio Advertising etc are some commonly practiced modes of brand promotion. In the following paragraphs, let us have a look at some advertising mediums that network customers and brands and generate a fond bond between the two.
Outdoor Advertising- For years, outdoor advertising practices have been widely carried on by customers to promote their brands. Outdoor Advertising media is one of the oldest modes of brand promotion. However, it is still an effective channel to reach out to target customers. Digital billboards, signages, electronic kiosks, pillar wraps, aerobridges, Backlite translits etc are few tools of modern outdoor advertising. Airport Advertising and metro advertising are two latest avenues of outdoor advertising. The implementation of rich and interactive media has made airport advertising practices one of the post avenues to launch promotion campaigns for various brands. The launch of various airports in every nook and corner of the country also enhances the need for more airport ads in and around the airport areas.
Print Advertising- Any form of brand promotion that is available through print media such as pamphlets, brochures, leaflets, flyers, newspaper, magazine etc comes under print advertising. The earliest forms of brand advertising were mostly print ads that were engraved on leaves and stones. Over these years, print advertising practices are still a reliable and effective means of brand promotion widely adopted by brand owners.
Television Advertising- Of all the modes of brand promotion, television advertising is considered the most entertaining media. Especially for Indian audiences, television advertising provide dual benefit- firstly as source of brand information and secondly as an entertaining media. Providing a global appeal along with audio-visual impact to customers, television ads provide rich impact on target groups. The popularity of television as an advertising media has not lessened over the years. Infact, more and more television ads are yet to be telecasted.
