So you are a small business with rack cards as the first marketing tool to use. How are you going to use your rack cards? Will you simply print them and give them away where it seems appropriate? Will you just let chance rule and leave your rack cards in one rack in your shop? Are you confused, lost or just have no plants at all in using color rack cards for marketing? Well, if you have absolutely no idea what to do with your color rack cards, then I have the perfect plan for you.
Here is the typical marketing plan that I use for using rack cards in marketing. Just apply this to your small business and enjoy.
-
Content review – First, with your color rack cards ready, it is important for you to review it first. You should ask yourself if the content in it is exactly the content that you need for marketing. Many marketers do not realize that the content they put in their color rack cards is insufficient for the typical reader to get excited in. Also sometimes, they make the mistake in printing the wrong message with the wrong type of call to action. So make sure you review your content and see if it has indeed all the needed information that your readers will need for them to respond.
-
Target market review – Speaking of readers, the next step in your plan for rack card marketing is to review your target market. You have to know exactly who you want to market to with your color rack cards and of course you will want to know WHERE exactly do they exactly live and work. This initial research will help you create the best marketing strategies using your color rack cards as the primary mediums.
-
Standard shop deployment – Once all the reviews are done, you should then have enough information to do your deployment for rack card marketing. The first step is to deploy your rack cards in your shop or place of business. Typically I would place marketing rack cards in your reception desk as well as in key places where people will wait for something or someone such as lobbies. Make sure that they are on a rack and are of course highly visible.
-
Standard street deployment – Next, you have to go outside and deploy your color rack cards in the street. Standard marketing deployments for rack cards include just outside your shop, near community buildings or locations as well as near transportation nodes where people gather everyday to take the bus or train. Make sure that you cover as many areas like this as possible with racks and color rack cards of course, and do it within a substantial time frame so that you can get as much people as possible to pick up your color rack cards.
-
Events deployment – Lastly, you should also try to deploy your rack cards at certain events such as concerts, parties, plays or ceremonies. Event venues are quite the places of concentration and you can save a lot of footwork and money by just going to specific events and giving away your color rack cards near those places. Along with the use of an event-themed color rack card that is related to the event, it should be easy to do rack card marketing to the audience that won’t care too much.
So with that, you already know the correct rack card marketing plan for your small business. Good luck in trying out all the steps!
