Frequently managers or promoted out of the groups they are members of. Most companies evaluate their employees and know who the best ones are. Many times the ones promoted to managers with the same ones who performed at the top of their current group. It's not uncommon that people promoted from within the very team that used to be part of can quickly fail.
People with MBA degrees from prestigious universities are always better managers.MBA degrees are expensive and very time-consuming. Many attendees and graduates of business schools think that's how to obtain the required skills for management and leadership. Only luck would produce that outcome.
