Have you ever wondered why some people just seem to blissfully glide through life like nothing has any effect on them...while others aspiring to huge hopes and wonderful dreams never seem to accomplish anything?

Though it might seem difficult to understand, the reason that this happens is actually very simple.

Mindset, that is why this happens.

Here is an example.

If you have 2 completely different people but they are each presently earing around $70,000 per year at the moment. That is really not too bad for the average citizen in the United States, but when you think about it, in the scheme of things, that is really not much money at all.

Both decide that $70,000 is not enough and on December 31st they each set a goal to hit $200,000 next year.

Now, in the mind of EACH person, that little negativity devil will absolutely come out to play. The negativity devil is crafty and will begin playing mind-tricks on you, trying to convince you that the goal is impossible to meet.

The real difference when the little devil rears his ugly head is what happens to each person.

In the mind of a winner this little devil is booted out on his pointed little tail. Saying "Damn, that seems hard...let me develop a plan to get it done."

Loosers become best friends with the negativity devil. They say things like "man little devil, you’re right! I can't earn that kind of money next year so why try? Absolutely not!It All Comes Down To Mindset.

In my way of thinking, EVERYTHING that happens in your life boils down to mindset.

That's why it is so very vital.

Scenario #1; You have a customer who is rather rude and tells yoiu that you have the worst business he has ever seen.

How do you handle it?

You can.

A.) Paste a smile on your face accepting the criticism but attempt to divine if there is any validity to the comment and move on not letting it get to you or change your mood for the rest of the day

B) Let your day and mood be ruined, lowering yourself to the same negativity and low self-esteem that is the cause of your customer’s comments, and then blame him for ruining your day.

Is the difference clear?

Scenario 2: Business is a little slow. Money is kind of short and you have bills to pay. More money seems to be the major topic of conversation with your spouse. Your thoughts are wandering and you are considering returning to a job to help your financial situation.

Would you.

A) Quit, give up, forget your dreams, take the easy road, and complain that those who actually made it in this business are just lucky or had a lot of help.

B) Take a break, even if its only for 30 minutes to sit alone in a quiet place contemplating how you got into this financial mess in the first place…then begin brainstorming for ways to break out of the financial situation that you are in and begin to head in the right direction?

There is a difference in each approach, can you see them?

Believe it or not, there is actually a silver lining to everything that happens to you. Looking back on my own life, there’s not a single event that happened to me which I couldn’t learn some type of lesson from that’ll help me in the future.

Whether it’s going through tough financial times, saying the wrong thing to my wife at the wrong time, or whatever the case may be… it doesn’t matter.

All that matters, is how you handle it.

How are you doing on that?

Was there a situation that happened recently in which you could have handled it better?

No one is perfect. I screw things up EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE. Learning and growing from these mistakes is important, if you are not then you are truly going nowhere.
