The need for medical facility expansion continues. However, when adding on to an existing structure, there are two options: closing the entire building down or putting in dust containment systems. When working on a single room, a hospital containment cart is an option. This type of cart provides a portable solution to keep dust and particles from a small area from escaping to the larger area. This dust containment unit will pull larger amounts of air through the system with the finest filters catching the smallest particles possible. This kind of system allows construction in a tight place where patient health is important.
A proper hospital containment cart will work well in areas where minor construction and maintenance work happens. The cart should move easily in tight spaces. It should go into place and lock down to provide a stable containment area. These carts require a place to plug in and usually take no more than two minutes to setup. For those doing routine maintenance tasks, easy setup is essential. It will help them keep on going and get the work done quickly. Moreover, in the process they will keep the dust and particulates out of the air that patients and staff breathe.
A portable hospital containment cart must be portable and easy to setup. Wheeling into place, the user locks the unit down. The containment unit will move into place around the area of maintenance. After plugging it in, a simple switch will turn the unit on. That will start the negative air flow. The air goes into a special filtration unit that filters out microscopic particulates and dust. The clean air then goes into the general are outside the containment unit. The breakdown process is just as easy to do. Maintenance workers can get the job done without a great deal of hassle for anyone.
Hospitals and other medical buildings need to have a portable hospital containment cart on their premises. No building is maintenance or repair proof. Things will happen and the maintenance staff will need to access areas of the building. Having a cart on hand will make their jobs much easier. They can move it into place and do the work within a couple of minutes of arrival. That allows them to get the job done and get gone before they disrupt work and patients. Depending on the size of the facility, having more than one on hand might make sense.
A portable hospital containment cart is a solution for hospitals and contractors who wish to create a better environment for dust and particulate control.
