Network marketing is one of the best ways to take control of your financial future. The reason this is the case is because when you start a network marketing business, your pay is not based on what someone else says your worth, providing that you have joined a legitimate MLM that is going to pay you for your efforts. The sky's the limit as far as what you can earn in a network marketing opportunity, which is what makes this industry so great.
A lot of people fail in network marketing not because network marketing is a flawed business model or a scam as some people might proclaim, but because people are not patient. They're not willing to wait on success. We're used to getting paid for the work that we do right away. In other words if we work for an hour, we have the mentality of making a certain dollar amount per hour that we work within the next week or two after doing the work. If someone works for 20 hours on their network marketing business, yet makes only $50, in their mind it isn't worth it because they're not getting paid for what they did in what they consider a timely manner.
Network marketing takes patients. If you want to be successful in network marketing, you have to have the mentality of a farmer. You plan1 your crop in this season, and reap the rewards of that crop next season. It might take you four five months or in some cases more to start experiencing real success and real growth in your network marketing business. The cool thing is though that the income is residual. Your getting paid over and over for the work that you do one time. This is where network marketing is so powerful.
You don't have to be a superstar salesman or some sort of a guru to be successful in network marketing. Anyone can be successful! All it takes is a little bit of effort and your there. You might have to work a little bit harder in the beginning, but in the and this business model could in that making your financial dreams your life.
Another reason why people fail in network marketing is because they never really even try to do what it takes to succeed. Rejection takes a lot out of us as human beings. As a matter of fact, it takes so much out of us sometimes that we will believe for whatever reason we worked harder than we actually did. For most people someone saying no or they are not interested is an emotionally draining experience, if they do not have the right attitude or perspective on rejection. This means that people might talk to just a couple of people about their products or services affiliated with the network marketing business they are a part of and if those people tell them no, they believe that they have worked very hard because of the emotional strain involved in the rejection they experienced. This means they walk away from industry altogether with the negative taste in their mouth saying that it didn't work or often even saying that the opportunity they were part of is a scam.
Network marketing is a legitimate business model but the truth is when it comes to the business itself, most people are going to tell you no. That is why success is a numbers game. You need to find automated ways to get the products and services that you are promoting in front of as many people as possible. Instead of talking to these people, you need to have these people calling you on the phone inquiring about the business. The more people you put your business in front of, the more people that you will find to join your business and the more successful you will be. Remember, there are billions of people on this planet and it only takes several thousand people to earn a six-figure income in most network marketing opportunities. This is not a lot of people, especially when you consider that some individually might put 500 people into the business. Yes, network marketing is a legitimate business model, but the patience and determination that it takes to succeed is too much for most people.
