A temperature Chamber is a chamber that artificially controls the temperature and the humidity index within the chamber to observe and study the effect of these changes on substances. It is an enclosed space for controlling environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.
A temperature controlled-chamber is a chamber for monitoring the effects of temperature on the material under test. Manufacturing, engineering, food processing, and packing industries carry out environmental tests. These climatic-related environmental tests are pressure, temperature, humidity, and environmental tests to ascertain the products’ performance in various conditions.
Why do you need to test a chamber?
Temperature and humidity testing help to determine the behaviour of the components under severe conditions such as a fluctuating environment, high temperature and different relative humidity.
It becomes essential for large-scale industries to run a test for various components with temperature forcing systems, thus resulting in the need for a testing chamber.
How does a temperature- controlled chamber work?
To control the temperature, the chamber must be able to perform two functions: heating and cooling. It must be able to distribute the temperature evenly inside the test compartment.
Specific technical considerations about the distribution of air within the test compartment make it possible to achieve great uniformity of the temperature values over time and throughout the space of the chamber, ensuring that all parts and surfaces of the DUT are subject to the same temperature.
The mechanical cooling system of a chamber consists of a closed-circuit system, with the following main components such as compressor, condenser, expansion valve and evaporator.

Using the compression and subsequent expansion of refrigerant gas, the process will uniformly cool the test compartment. The sophisticated air-feed system ensures an extremely uniform temperature distribution. Precision control guarantees stable temperatures with no overshooting, while pre-configuring control parameters ensure the temperature attains quickly and precisely. The optional close-proximity temperature humidity chamber sensor enables temperature control at the critical sensor location, for optimum test results. The practical holder allows the sensor to position quickly and precisely.
All these temperature testing chambers manufactured by Envisystech, or also called environmental chambers, work perfectly for your testing needs. These chambers are available in various standard sizes and volumes for stimulating temperature ranging from -70 C to 180 C and relative humidity from 10% to 98% for testing components to large-sized products.
Guaranteeing for both optical and contact measurements, Envisystech temperature chamber manufacturer is reliable for the test results. The modular concept allows optimum adaptation of the chamber to suit your needs. The large chamber volume allows additional test area space for components testing.
Envisys is an ISO 9001-2015 certified manufacturer of climatic test chambers in the USA. We supply
custom-built temperature-controlled test chambers, based on the industry's requirements for various
applications including building materials, plastics, composites, metals, electronic components,
batteries, etc.
