Allpax designs, manufactures, and delivers turnkey sterilization solutions for the beverage industry. We understand how crucial reliable machines are for beverage applications. We help customers achieve success through various avenues, ensuring reduced time to market, lower overall labor costs, and increased throughput of the sterilization process.

There are several retorts and accessories used in the beverage industry to ensure that consumers receive superior quality beverages. The rotary water immersion retorts are ideal for vertically oriented containers such as glass bottles and aluminum beverage cans. High speed end-over-end agitation provides significant cycle time reduction and reduces thermal burden. Choose from the various production retorts, R&D retorts, and retort accessories and experience cost efficiency and maximum throughput in your retort room.

The services and solutions available from Allpax solve any beverage processing challenge, regardless of size or shape. The production retorts are designed by thermal processing expert engineers for maximum process efficiency. Each system is designed for even temperature distribution and is available with flexible agitation options.

Rotary water immersion retorts can be used on all types of products in the beverage industry. These machines deliver optimal come-up times and feature a severe-duty all stainless steel construction. swing-open or automatic overhead orbiting door options are available. All retorts are equipped with NEMA 4X electrical and pneumatic panels, and a 15-inch Allen Bradley color touch screen HMI.

Other production retorts include saturated steam, steam-air retorts, water spray retorts, dual mode steam/spray and dual mode spray/immersion. Allpax also offers other types of agitation such as horizontally reciprocating Shaka and Gentle Motion. Horizontal agitation which is designed for containers that are oriented as such during the retort process can minimize retort cycle time from 40% to as much as 90%. Other benefits include higher production rates, better in-process hydration and reduced thermal burden.

Allpax Research and Development retorts are designed with flexibility in mind. The 2402 and 3802 are capable or replicating all production retort processed currently being used in the commercial sterilization industry including the continuous forms of rotary-axial and hydrostat. Larger R&D/Pilot retorts such as the 5202 and Versatort allow for higher production as well. This allows producers to develop products and introduce them into the market before ramping up to large scale production.

Allpax provides processing and sterilization machinery with industry leading controls to fully automate the retort process for any container.
