Acne Is A Symptom, Not A Disease!

Most dermatologists don't even know the real cause of acne. If you don't believe it, ask yours.
Oh! They know enough about treating the result (acne), but very little, if anything, about the internal cause.
The sad fact is, without eliminating the internal cause of your acne, it will never completely disappear. No matter how many creams, peels, prescriptions, or "miracle cures" you spend your money on, the symptoms will continue to appear until the underlying condition is resolved.
So, you ask, what "underlying condition"?
P acne bacteria (Propionibacterium), long thought to cause acne, exists on the skin of all people, whether they suffer from acne or not. Just as Streptococcus bacteria lives a quiet life in our throats without causing Strep Throat, so does the P acne bacteria live on our skin. In a normal, healthy environment, these bacteria go about their day-to-day business and can actually be beneficial, protecting us from more harmful bacteria that may be lurking about.
The problem arises when the "normal, healthy environment" changes, allowing the P bacteria to reproduce in abnormal quantities. An excessive amount of these bacteria will, indeed, cause inflammation, irritation, pus, blackheads...and, well, acne.
To cure the problem, we must restore the proper environment, not just treat the outbreak. Treating the "symptoms" may, indeed clear your skin temporarily, but, if you don't treat the condition that caused the symptoms, they will surely re-appear.
To cure the underlying condition, you must understand what's happening on your skin. Sebum oil is a naturally-occurring secretion of the skin. P acne bacteria feed on this oil using enzymes. Acne appears when your body, for what ever reason, produces an excess of Sebum Oil. When blood toxins (natural blood toxins that are expelled through your skin) are mixed with this over-production of oil, the P acne invades the hair follicles and starts to multiply. As part of this feeding process, acne bacteria produce free fatty acids which irritate the skin. Your body then calls white and red blood cells in order to defend itself. The red and white blood cells often cause an inflammatory response, that results in the familiar symptoms of acne: swelling, pus, whiteheads, nodules and pustules. It only follows, then, that to stop the formation of acne, we must stop the excess production of sebum oil.
For some people, this can be nothing more than the result of a food allergy. Believe it or not. simple food allergies can cause severe cases of acne. In this case, the solution would be as simple as finding out what food is causing the excessive sebum production, and eliminating it from your diet. The trick is, for this you need to see an allergy doctor, not a dermatologist. Most acne sufferers don't think of this angle, but it does exist.
For most of us, however, the condition is caused by a hormonal imbalance. An overproduction, or, under production, of certain hormones will cause our bodies to secrete an excess of sebum oil and start the "acne sequence", making an acne breakout a certainty. The fact that this condition is hormonal is the reason that most doctors conclude that acne is "incurable", and the most they can do is to treat the symptoms.
Recent clinical studies have shown that this is not, necessarily, the case. Many acne sufferers have found that a holistic approach to fixing the internal causes of acne have amazing results. By fixing the internal condition that causes your acne in addition to adopting a healthy lifestyle (healthy diet & mindset, cleanse & detoxify, hormonal balancing etc.) you can put your body back into balance, and your acne will cease to exist!
