One hair loss cause that you need to overcome is poor scalp blood circulation. This is a major source of hair loss, if you don't consider this when trying to improve the appearance of your hair and growth of your hair.
The important aspect of blood circulation is the quantity and quality of the blood reaching the hair root. If your hair root does not get a constant and good supply of blood, lymph, oxygen and nutrients, it will shrink and die. Bacteria will take over and weaken your hair and you will lose it.
Reduction in blood to the scalp is one hair loss cause that can be caused by yet another body condition - tension or stress. Excess stress causes scalp tissue to tighten and reduces blood flow to the furthest parts of your body - feet, hands, and head. Capillaries become constricted and feed your hair roots less blood.
Stress with androgenic hormones works to tighten the scalp, making it thinner, and more susceptible to hair loss. Women seem to maintain a thicker scalp, which helps to reduce hair loss and promote hair growth.
Your poor scalp blood circulation can also be caused by harden crystals that form from sebum and hair perspiration. These crystals can plug up the follicles causing surround tissue to harden and then restrict the flow of blood to the follicle. To stop the crystals from forming, after you shampooing, you can use of apple cider vinegar as a final rinse, Then use jojoba oil and coconut oil as a hair gel will help mask the smell of the apple cider vinegar and keeping your hair healthy. The apple cider vinegar also brings the scalp back to a slightly acidic pH, which helps the scalp stay health.
Any arthritis or tightening of neck muscles can restrict blood flow to the head. Here you need daily neck massages. Regular exercises or movement activity will help you increase your blood circulation to your head. Just having someone or yourself massage your scalp for 5 - 10 a day will help maintain good scalp health.
In the hair loss cause due to blood circulation, placing your head below your heart regularly can bring more blood into your scalp. For those of you that have high blood pressure or circulation problems, you need to avoid these techniques. You can lie in bed with your head hanging over. Bring you head near the floor and count to 10 then bring it back level with your body. You can repeat this 6 - 7 times once or twice a day. You can do this any time of the day or once in the morning and once in the evening. Also you can increase the count from10 to longer times as you continue to do this exercise.
Slant boards are also sold, where you to lie on a board so that your head is near the floor and your feet are up in the air. You can also do a yoga head stance, if you are doing yoga. Do the hand stance so that your body and feet are up against a wall.
If you want scalp massage to be effective you need to do it at least twice a day for at least 10 minutes. Place your fingertips on your scalp and move the scalp in two directions - forward and back and in a circulating motion. Do not rub or scratch your scalp to avoid breaking off hair or damaging your scalp.
Blood circulation is one hair loss cause that you can work on. By doing hair massage, holding your head below your heart level and by keeping your scalp clean by using apple cider vinegar after showering, you can get better blood circulation in your scalp and eliminate one cause of hair loss.
