So you want a guide for how to six pack abs?
Most people these days eat way to much Junk food and don't truly understand what it takes to get six pack abs.Getting six pack abs is not an easy task and does require some effort and dedication. Below is a general guide that, if followed for 3-4months, will indeed give you what you want, six pack abs!
Food:
This is one of the biggest factors that comes into the puzzle. If you are not eating right, chances are that you have a layer of fat that surrounds your abs. If this is the case then you need to start breaking up your daily meals into 5-6 small snacks. This will help speed up your metabolism, and try to stop eating all that excess food that is helping prevent your abs from showing through: soda, white bread, pasta, dessert, candy, fast food, sugars and hydrogenated oils.

You must become more aware of what you are putting through your body if you want a lean six pack abs!
Why don't you eat foods that are going to help you reach you six pack abs goal? Try eating foods like: fruits, vegetables, nuts, oatmeal, whole grain breads,chicken, fish, protein, green tea and water. It will take a little bit of time to get everything into check so don't be to hard on yourself if you slip up, take your time but make sure to make a conscious effort everyday to improve your eating habits because if you don't, then you will never see your six pack abs.

When it comes to exercises, there are 3 steps that play a vital part in weight loss.

You should be aiming for 3-4 workout's a week.

Cardio- This can range from anything to walking, running, biking, dancing, swimming...whatever you decide to do is entirely up to you so try to keep it interesting and fun. To get maximum results when doing cardio, you should mix it up a little by doing bursts in your workout.for example, if you are on a bike, peddle for one minute at a intermediate level then the following minute step it up to high pace cycling. Rinse and repeat this process for ten minutes.

Weight Lifting- It is important to have weight training in your workout because 3 pounds of added muscle burns as many calories as a 1 mile jog.....and this is when you are doing nothing.
