Preventing wrinkles with an anti aging anti wrinkle cream makes sense. What doesn't make sense is paying high prices for skin care products that don't work. So what usually happens is that consumers start searching for something they hope will work.
That's probably why you are reading this article right now. Be glad you are because I am going to show you what really does work and not at highway robbery prices.
Beware of New Fad Treatments
Lots of people are raving about the new synthetic protein complex that is being marketed as a safe alternative to Botox. That really concerns me. No one knows whether or not this product is safe for long-term use.
It also concerns me because, like practically every other anti aging anti wrinkle cream, the Botox alternatives are loaded with artificial preservatives and fragrances. Preventing wrinkles is important to me, but so is my health. Besides, preventing wrinkles does not require the use of unsafe, unproven synthetic chemicals.
What Are Free Radicals?
All that we really need is antioxidants. Sure, there are other nutrients that are necessary for the skin's overall health and appearance. We need moisturizers made of plant oils that provide essential fatty acids. We need proteins like keratin to help the skin maintain its firmness and elasticity. But, according to the latest research and reports from dermatologists antioxidants are the most important nutrient that we can feed to our faces.
Just recently, the American Academy of Dermatologists published a report about free radicals. Free radicals are molecules that perform some important functions within the cell, but like everything else in the body, there has to be a balance.
Without the right balance, free radicals go a little crazy. They attack the cellular membrane, collagen and DNA strands. They play a role in chronic inflammation, which in turn plays a role in increasing free radical production. So, it becomes something like a vicious circle.
Antioxidants Are Necessary
Antioxidants provide the necessary balance to stop the process. The dermatology report said that the level of antioxidants is very low in aging skin. They blamed all of the signs of aging (wrinkling, sagging, etc.) on the free radical/antioxidant imbalance.
So, instead of containing large amounts of synthetic chemicals and artificial preservatives, the best anti aging anti wrinkle cream is loaded with anti-oxidants.
Recently, researchers in New Zealand were able to isolate a unique antioxidant and extract it from sheep's wool. This compound will play a major role in preventing wrinkles. Normally, it takes one molecule of an antioxidant to control one free radical molecule. One molecule of this enzyme can control one free radical molecule, then go on to control millions more, all the time repairing any damage that was done to the cellular membrane or the collagen fibers. (This is as technical as I usually get.)
There is no other anti aging anti wrinkle cream like it. Many of them recommend vitamin C for preventing wrinkles. Vitamin C has a tendency to cause irritation and it is not an effective skin antioxidant. But does benefit the body when consumed.
You can get this anti-oxidant, anti aging anti wrinkle cream for less than $40. That's an investment that I can afford and am happy with the results. I would also be happy to recommend where you you can find it.- Margaret Bell
