In order to keep up with the increasing "going green" population, Xerox has updated their printing technology to make the world a better and healthier place to live in for present and future generations. Xerox is the leading document management manufacturer and service operator of the world.

A new line of products has been launched by Xerox to help encourage green-minded folks to bring their green lifestyle to their printing and copying needs. They have new papers, Web tools and other resources that are extremely useful to their customers. The web tools will help customers decide which products will work the best for them.

Recycled Paper

Xerox has always had earth friendly goals in mind, and their products have supported this. Their paper products have either been manufactured to be completely recycled and if not they have met the certification guidelines set by the Environmental Agency based on the regulations set by the forestry and forestry management. The Color Xpressions product is one such product. It is made from 20 recycled pages that have been smoothed to provide an excellent surface for a variety of uses such as color photos, illustrations and documents, making it the perfect paper for your business’ digital printing needs.

The High Yield Business Papers is yet another testimonial to Xerox’s use of pre-emptive paper manufacturing practices. This paper is manufactured with only half the trees it would normally take to produce the same amount of paper because it is also made from fibers. When it comes to printing, this earth friendly paper doesn’t get jammed in digital printing equipment as lower quality papers would.

Be Sure You See the Green Mark

Because so many customers want to switch to green printing and are finding it difficult to get their hands on such products, Xerox has decided to imbed their sustainability mark on all their green products and the packaging materials of these products. This way it will make it easier for customers to find the product they are looking for, for their green printing needs. Xerox will also be placing a message on their green products to let their customers know the extent of what they are doing to help stop global warming and pollution, and their paper recycling program. There will also be a short synopsis on the benefits of using green products for your business and personal needs.

Xerox has created a database that is filled with knowledge for their customers to visit. It will help them to choose the right product for their needs. There is also a section that is loaded with tips and techniques on how green printing can work for you, such as decreasing your amount of waste and getting the most out of your paper and ink. By purchasing green products, those that have been made from recycled paper or have been certified by the forestry council, you are doing your part to help preserve our wonderful planet.

Xerox has committed their company to working with some very strict guidelines that are designed to ensure forest preservation. These guidelines include wood procurement and the manufacturing of only green goods.

I learned about the green paper over this past summer on a trip out to Xerox customer center in Rochester, NY. Very cool stuff. It is about time that a company come out and actually put a product out there that you can say is "green"
