How to Get Six Pack Abs Fast

Want to know how to get abs fast, without springing for health club memberships, overpriced exercise equipment, or silly contraptions? It's definitely possible to get six pack abs with a simple routine. All you need is some open floor space, knowledge, and a little bit of dedication.
You can definitely find a lot of products online that promise you tight washboard abs if you just plop down a big wad of cash for their equipment or DVD series. Some of these products even work. But the truth is that you don't need to spend that much to get six pack abs. In fact, you can get abs quickly using some very basic exercises and a few simple changes to your diet.
A study done not long ago by the American Council on Exercise revealed that the exercises that work the abs most effectively are actually also three of the simplest. The study compared a wide number of different exercises and ab workout machines and found that the three which work best are: the crunch (using an exercise ball), the basic bicycle maneuver, and the captain's chair.
Of these three exercises, the captain's chair and the bicycle maneuver target both major muscle groups in the stomach, the obliques and the rectus abdominus. So technically, you could do just these two exercises and work out your abs quite effectively. Throw in some exercise ball crunches for variety, and you would have an abs routine that is simple, effective, and which wouldn't break the bank.
Of course, the truth is that you could exercise your stomach four an hour a day and still not get six pack abs. The trouble is that you'll never have a six pack until you burn off the fat covering your ab muscles. Perhaps the best way to burn off that fat is to cut carb intake. You can do this easily but dropping soda, sweets, breads, and pastas. And always make sure you eat adequate amounts of fats and proteins too.
Another way to speed up your fat burning is to start building muscles. Begin with some basic pushups and gradually build up the reps you can do. By cutting carbs, building your muscle, and starting this basic abs workout routine, you'll be amazed just how fast you can burn off that fat and start to reveal those lean, sexy six pack abs.
