Know what is happening – Know what to do

In today’s fast moving, distributed workplaces it is becoming more and more difficult to know what is actually happening. Without knowing what is actually happening, it is very hard to work out what needs to be done by who and when.
There are many methods that provide information on some of the things that are happening, but they are not connected. For example, different methods are used to manage and provide information about strategies, governance, compliance, projects and personal time management.
However with information in so many different places, it is very hard to work out how it all fits together. But for a person to know what they need to do to make the best use of their time and effort, they need to know what is happening that affects them. Knowing everything that is happening is overwhelming, so each person tries to sort out the information that is relevant to them.
It is important to note that when tasks are broken down to what a person needs to know and do, they are easy to understand. Problems occur when a person is trying to juggle many tasks with many people and the tasks keep changing. So what is needed is a juggling mechanism, so people can stay focused on what they need to do without losing the context (bigger picture).
TASKey has been developing a distributed management solution for over 12 years. They found that people are good at working through actions on a personal ToDo list, but find the list hard to create and maintain. TASKey realised that the core management processes throughout an organization are relatively simple, but they get very complicated when they are implemented manually (usually by managers).
TASKey started using software to track, coordinate and report on critical management processes. They found a simple task-team building block was the key to reducing complexity for people and software. An essential part of the building block was to break tasks down into the actions that individuals and teams needed to do.
The usual practice is to let people manually manage actions/ToDo’s. For example, project management operates at a task level and leaves people to manually manage the actions required to complete a task.
However TASKey has demonstrated that smart software can be used to automate the tracking, coordination, and reporting required to integrate all levels of management (from strategic level management to personal ToDo lists). The software (called TASKey TEAM) eliminates a lot of manual work for everyone involved, and most importantly, lets all users know what is actually happening in real-time.
An added bonus is that team actions are automatically synchronized on team members’ ToDo lists. So knowing what to do and time management is easy.
Providing the software on mobile device web browsers, such as mobile phones and iPhones, will make access easy and timely. So with minimal effort, people anywhere, any time can both know what is happening with tasks, and what they need to do in real-time.
TASKey provides project management methods and web project management software to get projects done. Our web software makes it easy for everyone doing a project to work together to get the information they need to make the project a success. TASKey provides the most affordable, most flexible and most powerful web project management software available. Visit http://www.me2team.com
