Recently there have been new introductions of many exquisite hair care products; there are many users of these products that are not much aware about the basics of hair care products and inturn this has led to the development of a number of misconceptions about the hair care products.
We all might be aware of the different benefits that have been added to the basic usage function of shampoos like the change of texture that they can bring about in the hair, the increase in the volume of the hair but it is very much important to remember the first and foremost function of shampoos to keep the hair clean, dirt free and keep the scalp completely smooth and shiny. This has been the key function of shampoo since their formulation.
• Some of the basic functions that are essentially required to be fulfilled by the shampoos have been listed as follows:
• They should effectively possess the ability to clean the oily hair, sebum, debris and even the hair that are very dirty or have been affected by the climate that is prevailing, the effects of global warming.
• The shampoo which you are using should work equally well on all types of water irrespective of the fact whether it is hard to soft.
• The shampoo should be gentle enough and it should not cause much of an irritation to the eyes, skin and even the scalp.
• The shampoo should be able to provide you the same texture of the hair as it was before the application of the shampoo. In other words the shampoo should be in such a way that it should not damage the hair and it should further improve the condition of the hair, make it shining and adorable.
It is also important to have a basic understanding of how a shampoo has been created and what are the features that can provide a soothing effect to the hair. As we all are aware of the fact that the specific and most important function of the shampoos is to cleanse the hair and scalp but not many of us are aware about the fact as to how the shampoos fulfill this function effectively. The formula of shampoo is composed of a series of large, specially treated molecules and each of these molecules consists of a head and a tail section.
These head and tail sections are designed in such a way so as to fulfill the specific cleansing functions. These two molecules work on the principle of attraction and repulsion like the tail of the shampoo molecule attracts the dirt, grease, debris and oil but this section repels water. On the other hand the head molecules attract water but this section repels the dirt molecules. Hence it is important to understand the fact that these sections work together in unison so as to fulfill the basic functioning.
The next aspect that you need to understand is to know that what should be the gap between the applications of shampoo cycle. You need to be aware that once the hair starts becoming dirty or the scalp excretes the oils than it is important that you need to shampoo your hair again and make yourself look fresh and bright.
