"Can skinny guys get ripped?" the guy had a raised eyebrow as I asked the question, "Well lets put it this way, I have never seen a guy as skinny as you go beyond a certain point. That point was not ripped or even that well muscled."

I was crestfallen, I really respected this guy I met at the gym and thought he might be able to teach me something. I look back now though and realize that while he knew how to turn himself into a behemoth of muscle he didn't really understand that skinny guys CAN get ripped. They just need to work to their body type much more closely than more genetically gifted body builders.

The difference? More than just one thing! So much needs to change reaching out to all parts of your life beyond the gym including a massive change in diet, a focus on just what works most efficiently in the gym, the importance of good recovery and how to shorten it without ruining it and then comes planning all this together into a regime that promote insane muscle growth if done right.

The only way I knew this was not through random guys at the gym and their random assortment of narrow minded views nor from some seriously sub-standard personal trainers but from finding out the science behind the body and how to apply that to the task at hand. Without this knowledge I felt like I was trying to build a repair a car wearing over mitts ... blindfolded ... while drunk.

With this knowledge and a commitment and passionate desire to get ripped I answered the question can the skinny guy get ripped in style ... with a yes, nothing more and nothing less.
