The Value of Water for Diets - You Will Be Surprised At What You Are About to Find Out!
Has anyone ever really discovered an authentic weight loss program that is rapid enough to help you lose weight fast; with no real effort on your part? The greatest secret to burn fat at a faster rate, is available with little or no cost to you.
In order for diets to be beneficial, a person will need to understand the importance of drinking plenty of water. Our human bodies are made up of about 70% of water. Different parts of the body carry different amounts of water in them. Men have more water in their bodies than women, essentially it is because their bodies contain more muscle mass. Water is important for all of us because it performs various functions for the health of your body.
Everyone interested in weight loss or dieting should realize that any diet you are on should include drinking plenty of water. An important advantage in drinking water is that it works to carry nutrients through the system, lubricates joints, remove impurities, and works to maintain healthy looking skin. It is extremely harmful when your body does not get enough water because if the kidneys don't get enough fluid, the liver stops metabolizing fat and then turns to filtering waste. When our intestines do not have the efficient amount of water, they will begin to draw what they need from the cells in the bowel, often causing constipation. By drinking plenty of water you will help your colon to function better.
Water Deficiency When your body is dehydrated it affects parts of your body that need the most water first, among the first signal your body will send that it needs water, would be weakness and decreasing mental alertness. Call your doctor if symptoms of dehydration become noticeably worse and if you or your child is unable to keep fluids down, develops severe diarrhea, is irritable or disoriented and gets much sleepier or less active than usual. For most people, experiencing dehydration is usually expressed by feeling weak and hungry and is less associated with thirst. When you feel like you need a snack, it is usually a sign that you need to drink some water. One good suggestion would be to drink a full glass before every meal and even before you reach for a snack.
A Good Body Fact: Water is vital in delivering oxygen to muscles and helps the body perform physical labor with greater strength.
Purified Water: Water is the single most important nutrient our bodies need to survive and yet it is unfortunate how people can take it for granted. A significant fraction of the human body is water. Having enough water for your overall health is one of the best things you can do for yourself. All diet programs should stress the need for drinking enough water throughout the day. More often than not it is not a good idea to use thirst alone as an indicator for when to get a drink. When your mouth becomes dry and your feel thirsty, it's most likely that your body is more than likely dehydrated. It is good to know that, when our bodies begin to get older they are less able to sense dehydration and send your brain signals of thirst. Excessive thirst and experience increased urination, this could be signs of a more serious medical condition. Always talk to your doctor if you experience either of these.
Hydration vs Dehydration: The more you exercise and the more you sweat, the more water you need to drink, and if you suddenly feel very thirsty, it's because your body already needed water and is taking water from your salivary glands. If you are exercising on days when it is hot outside, water should be replenished every 15 minutes in order to keep muscles strong and help to keep your body hydrated. This is extremely crucial for long endurance events, which is the reason why power walkers and others will usually carry water with them. Dehydration can lead to threatening health problems, even death. Drinking water is one of the most is important to your health and one of the main pieces to the weight loss puzzle. Water contains no calories, fat, or cholesterol, is inexpensive and readily available. It is nature's appetite suppressant, and drinking plenty of water to help your body burn off more fat.
Important Fact... Drinks with sugar and sweeteners actually increase appetite and hunger.
Metabolism Facts: Increased activity levels can increase your metabolic rate because as your lungs work harder to breath, your heart rate also increases. The livers main job is to metabolize the fat in our bodies however, it you do not drink enough water the liver has to begin working with the kidneys, then less body fat is metabolized resulting in more of it being stored in our body. Unfortunately this can lead to gaining some weight back or it can cause you to reach a frustrating plateau in your weight loss journey. To increase your body's ability to metabolize fat and lose weight, you need to drink plenty of clean water. This will enable your kidney and liver functions. Skipping meals will also negatively affect your metabolism and cause your body to go in to starvation survival mode. Starvation metabolism refers to a slowing of the metabolic rate as a natural defense mechanism to prevent starvation. The body instinctively goes on alert that it is not getting the nutrition it needs and begins to burn calories and fat much slower so it can survive longer. The more you drink water, the better your metabolism rate is going to be. Drinking plenty of water will give your body's metabolism what it needs to burn more calories. Dieters that don't drink enough water will not burn calories as fast as people who drink their 8-10 glasses of water each day.
