Toxic bosses has become quite common phenomena, be it private office or big business house, if the presence of your superior makes your palpitation rate higher, then my friend it is sign of anxiousness and tension not anything else, and some positive step is required to change this problematic situation otherwise situation will worsen day by day.
Handling such tricky situation is not easy, you have to develop some leadership management traits within you to solve it tactfully otherwise one wrong move from your side and your job falls in danger zone, but if you follow it strategically you can turn the dice in your favor, all bullying bosses are not same they come in two category, one is like I’m the best kind, who will love to crush your ideas and emotions whether you come with best possible idea or with some genuine reason he or she will use all his strength and power to keep your spirit down, others are quite indecisive, always in dilemma, choose this one or that one and never conclude any decision, both category is quite dangerous and handling any of it is not an easy task.
Silence is not the right way to tackle such hard situation it will only make it worse and will lead you towards frustration and negativity, instead of taking any fast action, go slowly one hurried step by you can create more problem for you it could harm your job.
Talk to your colleagues, are they going through the same situation and how they cope with it, their dealing technique can help you in finding your technique.
Once you become aware of their behavior pattern you will find it easy to cope with it, and always follow a professional way to deal such situation any nasty step from your side will harm your image.
Best way to solve any problem is to communicate, have fair conversation with your boss, make sure that he or she is aware of your problem, and even if then problem persist talk to your HR department, read good leadership books, it will help you in understanding your boss and will you to be a good boss in near future. Sorting out the problem is best way to treat it than to avoid it.
