Yes, there's nothing like a good rainfall to rejuvenates earth's life cycle.

And just as the earth needs water to cleanse itself, so do we humans. And this is especially true if you're losing weight. During weight loss, your body is breaking down fat cells as well as it's many other standard things. To do this effectively your body needs water.

Once the fat is broken down, you now have got to get it out of your system and of course you know how you do that.

It's also interesting to notice that when your body has enough water, your urine, pea, urea, whichever is less offensive, becomes nice and clear. This is a sign that your body is plenty flushed, which is a good indication that you're getting enough water.

In terms of how much water to drink each day, the recommendations are mixed. The standard guideline is at least 8 glasses a day. Some experts say to drink even more.

However, a report came out saying that even the 8 glasses a day is to much. In that report, it says that the average adult needs about 4 glasses a day.

Since you're in the business right now of losing weight, you're not the average adult. In most cases, your intakes are going to be higher than the 4 a day.

So how do you determine if you're getting enough? Well besides volunteering as a lab rat to be tested for water concentration in your cells, I suggest just looking at your urine. If it's clear, you're good to go.

If it's clear and you're going to the bathroom a lot, try cutting back until you reach a balance that feels good to you. This, however, may change from day to day, depending on how active you are.

Personally, after a jog, and I am sure this is true for you to, I drink more water after I'm finished. Needless to say, on the days that I'm not jogging, I don't need to drink as much.

What should you take away from this? Namely that there's no hard and fast rule that is going to fit everyone. You're going to have to, dare I say, trust your body and your intuition. And rest assured. You'll eventually get a good feel for when you need to cut back or make like a camel.
