For a workout with a twist, for a great fitness machine to tone both the upper and lower body, not forgetting your abdominals, you need the popular Cardio Twister, which is currently all the rage both in the US and in the UK.

With a revolutionary combination of a lateral thigh exerciser combined with rotating handlebars, you trim your waist and core muscles every time you twist and you also tone your arms, back and shoulder muscles at the same time for a great shape and a stunning silhouette.

The pressures of everyday life means that it can be a real challenge to find time to exercise. Along with the majority of the population, I struggle to find time to exercise in between looking after the kids, the house and the dogs and finding time to work as well. Although the exercise is very, very important I just don't seem to get the time to do it!

Going to a gym is a great idea in theory, but gym membership fees can be high and the gym may be too far away for you to get to easily - it is an established fact that people will not travel for more than 20 minutes to go to the gym and once you get there, you are likely to be given a full body exercise programme which can take you upwards of an hour to carry out.

At the gym the instructors will cheerfully do you an exercise program, but it always seems to take you a long time to do it, by the time you've worked out on the treadmill for your Cardio and all the different machines for different muscles, and then of course you have your core workout and your stretch programme to do as well!

I find this process is always takes me more than two hours and as regular exercise is recommended 3 to 4 times a week, that would be at least six hours out of my week. I don't have six hours to spare in a week! So the idea that the Cardio Twister would be able to help me get fit in my own time and at home was of great interest to me.

The Cardio Twister System is easily assembled and looks like a stepper attached to an upright with a set of handlebars level with your waist. The step machine part works laterally as well as vertically, which means that you can tone the inside and outside of your thighs (often a problem area) as well as the muscles on the front and back of your legs.

This lateral thigh action of the Cardio Twister replaces working out at least four gym machines and will sculpt beautiful leg muscles, and the comfy handlebars twist as you step, engaging all the muscles of your core including your sixpack and waist muscles. You can also easily change the resistance on the Cardio Twister, meaning that you can alter your workouts from aerobic to toning without any bother.
