The continuing tale of two cousin’s struggle for height. I wasn’t interested in gaining height but my cousin was. I told him "You can’t grow anymore once you’ve reached your adult height!" My cousin laughed at me and said, "Sit back and watch then eat your heart out!"

I could tell he was in for a enormous let down but he worked on increasing his height for about a month, I supposed he was blowing his time and money, but when he came up to visit me after a month he looked me right in the eye. He’s never been able to do that! I’m taller than he is—but that’s what he did. Looked me straight in the eye!

I always thought height was a genetics matter and you can’t change that but he showed me that you can increase height if you know how. I explored this astonishing development (my cousin getting taller) and found that your bones continue to grow but at a much slower rate. As a matter of fact, your whole body doesn’t stop growing – it just slows down.

If you do the right physical exercises for the back (spine) and legs, the discs in your back will thicken and actually add inches to your height. Of course, your posture has a lot to do with gaining height as well.

The cartilages between the vertebrae’s will actually thicken and that adds inches to your height. Practicing workouts every day for a month is enough to add a few inches and when you add good posture while standing and sitting, this adds even more inches.

So it is feasible to grow two to four inches taller in a month. There is also the subject of sleeping, which didn’t make sense to me, sleep is sleep. Well, my cousin explained how your back needs to be when you’re sleeping.

Your back needs to be straight when sleeping, because this allows for decompression on the spine, and that’s what makes your spinal column longer and stronger. The stronger your spinal column is the more you’re likely to stand straight and tall. Also your legs, shin and thigh bones have gaps in them that will lengthen with unique, frequent, workout.

Plus, my cousin also told me about his new diet. He scorns veges, especial green leafy veges, so I was surprised that he even considered eating them but he’s been eating them! Because they contain vitamin K and that helps the body make osteocalcin. Osteocalcin is a protein that assists the body form bones. I’ve never heard of it before and still need to do some more research on it and will let you know my findings.

My cousin, whose been doing all these things is now as tall as I am. And he said "Wait until next month; I’ll be taller than you". He is as tall as me now—the little creep.

Growing up together we had a natural competiveness that cousins do, and then when I grew taller than him I never let him forget it. After all, that’s part of my job as the older and taller cousin. He always hated being shorter than me but now I have to say "We are the same height!"

I thought it was impossible to grow anymore after you’ve reached your final height. But I was wrong! Now he’s forced me to buy the same program he used so I can get taller than him – once again.
