If you are looking to buy an entry level treadmill then a lot of the stores out there would have you believe that you cannot get a good quality unit for under $1,000. They'll try to get you to upgrade to a more expensive model, because the more you spend, the more profit they make. However, the Sole F63 is a great entry level treadmill that won't break the bank, so if you want to be able to enjoy workouts at home it could be just what you've been looking for.

It maintains a decent-sized belt at 55 inches, probably all you will need for walking and jogging unless you are unusually tall. The motor in a 2.5 HP model which has plenty of power, but doesn't run quite as quietly as the higher end Sole models. It will still take you up to 10 miles per hour, which should be plenty for anyone looking for light activity. Although the treadmill can handle more than just light activity considering it will hold up to a whopping 325 pounds.

Sole is pretty good at building a treadmill which has all the features you need for a proper workout. While the display looks fine, the best part is the control setup on the armrest, meaning you won't need to reach to change your speed. You will also get a set of cooling fans on this model. While they are little more than a light breeze, they do make a difference if you're working hard. This model is fairly basic and doesn't come with all the options the more expensive models do, but for someone just looking for occasional use, this unit will certainly keep you busy.

I'll admit that the higher end Sole treadmills do feel to be constructed a little more firmly; however you still benefit from a very competitive warranty from the manufacturer which covers the motor and deck for life and the major electronics for 3 years, not to mention 1 year parts and labor. To be fair though, the F63's roots lie in the gyms of major hotel chains so it's one treadmill that is more than capable of lasting a seriously long time.

Unfortunately, you won't be getting Sole's highly rated Cushion Flex impact absorption on this model. While the F63 still offers a great improvement over running on pavement, it is a bit harder than one of the upgraded models. With that and the noisier deck taken into account, someone who is an avid runner, or has intentions to become one, might want to consider upgrading to a higher end model. But even with the few complaints about quality, you are still getting one of the better models in the price range. If you're looking for a cheap treadmill without the cheap feel, the Sole F63 might have a place in your home.
