• The BIASA Artspace – This art gallery, found in Seminyak, is considered one of Bali’s best. It features exhibitions from both local and foreign artists who base themselves in Indonesia. Since its 2005 inception, BIASA has played host to a number of well-known artists such as Farhan Siki, Angki Purbandono and Kokok Sancoko. • Seminyak Beach – This pristine stretch of water-kissed land is a favourite for holidaymakers that want to soak up the sun. • Pura Petitenget Temple – This Hindu temple is not Bali’s largest, but it is well worth the stop. Thought to have been constructed in the 11th century by Empu Kuturan, the temple is said to be one of the "nine eyes" built to guard Bali from a host of threats from the outside world. Today, the temple remains an active destination. It is said to be especially busy on holy days and other special occasions when ceremonies are held.

• Waterbom – If a day at a water park sounds like fun, a trip to nearby Kuta might be in order. This area is home to Waterbom, a massive park that covers some 3.8 hectares with adventure rides, slides, spas, pools and more.

• Nightlife – The nightlife in the Seminyak and Kuta areas is considered legendary. The area is home to dozens of different clubs and lounges that open late and stay open even later. Clubs range from discos and salsa bars to jazz and beyond.

• Petitenget Beach – Named after the temple, this beach isn’t quite as popular as Seminyak Beach, but it is a welcomed stop for those who want a quieter pace. The sunsets here are worth taking in.
