So you want to play serious golf and just love being out in the fresh air with the sun on your face and being one with yourself. Just one problem though, you need golf swing help because you feel it is killing your lower back. Your swing technique needs to be addressed because it is the most important aspect of playing golf.

Once you have given proper attention to your swing, your back won't feel the pinch and you will get a new confidence as you keep on driving the ball to it's desired spot time after time. You will not only enjoy golf more, but will want to play it for a long time.

Speed is not the answer when you swing. You need to slow your momentum down a bit. Practice in slow motion for a few rounds and gradually swing faster and faster until you feel comfortable when connecting the ball. By slowing down, you let go of the stress build up in your lower back.

Your hips and shoulders must do most of the work in your swing. Let someone video you when you drive the ball and look how you rotate them. If you could get your hips and shoulders in unison, then most of the work is taken off your spine.

Body weight also plays an important role in how you swing to make contact. You need to place most of your weight on the right foot and if you are left handed place your weight on your left foot. By placing your weight on the proper foot, you will also increase your chances of less back pain and more accurate drive. Do not straighten your arms entirely. They need to be bent slightly, to give you flexibility in the drive.

The space between your feet also is an important issue here. Spread your feet to shoulder length, bending your knees as well. You need to feel a spring like motion in your knees as this will help you to rotate your body easily. Stiff legs and arms will inhibit your drive immediately.

What you must remember, is to get your swing to such a level where it is no effort to swing and hit the ball. You need to concentrate on getting a synchronized drive with your lower body as well as your upper body in one action. Your swing needs to be fluid-like to be able to drive the ball to where you want it. Make an effort to watch some videos of the professionals out there today. Replay their swings in slow motion and see how they stand in each frame. This will give your golf swing help in no time.
