As we all know acai berry is a small fruit that comes from the Amazon River. Here in America it is known as several, it is sometimes called ‘the fruit of life’, ‘super food’ and the ‘secret of celebrity diet’. But how does acai berry really work for our diet and does it has any side effects or what so ever?
In this article we are going to talk about the truth about acai berry. I hope that to those who are in the verge of quitting their diet will have a new found hope in Acai Berry Products!

Acai Berry is a fruit that comes from the heart of Amazon River in Brazil. it is native to Central and Southern Amazon, it is best found mostly in floodplains and swamps. It has been long used by the Amazonian tribes for years and years. The longevity of their life span is truly a testimony of how effectively Acai Berry is.
Acai berry is a fruit that only lasts its freshness after 24 hours of picking from the tree. It so delicate and precious that juices from this fruit has to be extracted immediately or the fruit itself has to be capsulated to keep its wonderful benefits.
If we are going to describe Acai berry it is about an inch in diameter and is dark purple in color. It is produced in bunches of about 800 fruits, and is similar to grapes in appearance. The fruit tastes like a mixture of berries and chocolate. It has a single large seed in its center, which constitutes for 80% of its mass. The seed is sometimes used when ground as food for livestock, or as a component of soil for planting. The fruit is rich in flavonoid antioxidants.
This great fruit is true to the saying that great things come from small packages. Would you believe that this 2cm in diameter fruit has the highest antioxidant level in the world? Antioxidants are natural chemicals that prevent damage from free radicals. Free radicals enter our system through environmental pollution, poor diet, lack of exercise, and stress. They travel through our bodies, and over time can store up and cause bigger problems such as heart disease and cancer. Antioxidants help stop the damage from free radicals. They seek out and remove free radicals before they can cause harm to our bodies.
