College Basketball is off to a wild start so far this year. With the top 6 teams being undefeated, this year should prove to be one to remember. According to basketball experts, college basketball tickets have become a hot item in many markets, such as Kentucky, Purdue, Duke, North Carolina and Texas. The Kansas Jayhawks have shown dominance throughout the start of the season and have remained atop the polls since the preseason rankings were published. However, another team is moving up quickly, as Texas is receiving top ranking votes. They began receiving votes in week 3, but have slowly climbed up to 11 spots throughout the season. Their dominance over a tough North Carolina Tarheels team followed by an easy win over the Michigan State Spartans has started to turn the heads of AP voters.

A deep Kentucky Wildcats team is also starting to gain recognition, as the third ranked Wildcats also receive a vote for the number one ranking. Purdue sits untested at the four spot, but with the Big Ten season looming it should get interesting quickly. Syracuse has faced some decent competition against the Florida Gators and North Carolina Tarheels, but they have their work cut out for them in a league loaded with talent. The Big East should be easily one of the most exciting conferences to watch all year. Not one single team in the Big East has a losing record so far. It will be interesting to see who can make it out of this slugfest unscathed. West Virginia sits at #6 and also unbeaten. They kicked off the Big East season with a hard fought overtime victory against a 9-1 Seton Hall team. At #7, Duke is slowly moving back up the rankings. After a shaky beginning, Duke looks like Duke once again. Villanova is another member of the dangerous Big East. Sitting at #8, Villanova waits for their turn to knock off higher ranked Big East counterparts. North Carolina is also bouncing back after playing a tough schedule in the early going. Losses to #2 Texas and #5 Syracuse set the Tarheels back for awhile, but their team is starting to come together. The Connecticut Huskies round out the top 10 at 9-2. Losses to Duke and Kentucky are the only thing setting this Huskies team back. With so much firepower in this top 10, it should be an interesting start to 2010. Make sure to get you tickets today as powerful conference matchups in the Big 10, Big 12, Big East and PAC-10 are right around the corner!
