An interesting article and full of good sense. I would like to add that if you are in charge of a group of children doing sporting activities, you should have a good understanding of your legal responsibilities. This article from Australia http://www.chinese-swords-guide.com/teach-your-children-well.html goes through such advice as insurance, disclaimers, duty of care, first aid qualifications, safety equipment and risk assessment. These will be different for different parts of the world, but they are essential knowledge for anyone who helps with childrens exercise.
