Cellulite affects many women starting at an early age.
It's that dimpled look, that looks like an orange peel
that shows up on the upper arms, hips, buttocks and t
highs. Some men are also affected by cellulite but the
problem is by far not as common in men as it is in
women because men’s connective tissues have a
firmer crisscross pattern than the connective-tissue
matrix in women. Research shows that the reason
why some men get cellulite may be due to the fact
that they have a lower level of the androgen hormone.
That dimpled look is called cellulite. It is caused by fat
deposits that change the connective tissues and form
pockets below the skin. It starts to affect women even
in their 20s. In fact, 90% of women, from every race,
including very thin women, are affected by cellulite.
Possible causes can be due to a lack of exercise, a
poor diet, hormone changes or genetics. In general
women do not like the unsightly appearance of cellulite
and feel quite self-conscious about it. Today’s women
want to have beautiful skin, smooth skin. Women are
always looking for solutions to get rid of cellulite and
to lose weight or inches, preferably without cosmetic
surgery procedures.
