Most of us rely on taxi cabs to get us to and from different destinations especially if we don’t have our own cars. They are more expensive that riding on a bus but it provides passenger a relaxed feel and get them exactly where they want to go without walking off from bus stops.
Through the years, however, there have been many reported accidents involving these vehicles. These accidents would either be caused by another motorist, a negligent driver, or defective vehicles.
Here are common taxi accidents:
• Taxi colliding with another vehicle
• Taxi hitting a pedestrian or a passenger
• Taxi hitting a road fixture
• Taxi rolling over

• Blindness – Debris from broken mirrors and windows can easily get into one’s eyes and cause damages to the eye and partial or total blindness.
• Disfigurement – Facial injuries are common in collisions. To correct it, a number of surgeries may be necessary. These procedures that would re-construct the victim’s features may be costly and greatly affect his finances.
