There's no way to list all the benefits of getting the proper amount of nutrition. But those of you that are working on building your muscles, you should be aware of certain things about vitamins and supplements.
First of all, eating right is the BEST nutrition you can get. Because there are certain types of vitamins and minerals that go along with food that just can't be found in supplements. However, if you're unable to get all the vitamins and minerals that you need, it is best to have them through vitamin supplements than to have nothing at all.
For all my bodybuilders, you are doing great work with your body and because of this work it causes you to become stronger. But as you increase the ability to lift things and you increase the strength of your muscles, you're going to need more vitamins and minerals, as well as more energy, in order to use those enhanced muscles. Importantly, you should speak to a doctor and/or a nutritionist to ensure your body can maintain the muscles that it has.
You will need to take supplements if you're not consuming enough foods that have the right vitamins. This is because its extremely important that you have enough of the right things if you're going to be bodybuilding. If you're not feeding you body properly while building muscles, there's not going to be anything left over to keep you healthy and strong.
Vitamins help to build your immune system, make hormones, and much more. Its a good idea to go on a general multi-vitamin if you're working out and working hard on your body. This is good because as you work out you're burning energy that your body would otherwise use to protect itself. As you work out, you immune system might become comprised, so do whatever you can to make sure you are getting the right amount of vitamins and minerals so your immune system can perform properly. Do not be afraid to talk to your doctor about what you can do to make sure you are putting the right things into your body at all times.
