One of the fundamental keys of consistent weight loss and learning to keep if off is to raise your resting metabolic rate, this is where crash diets and quick fixes fail.

Rob's Fat Burning Furnace is an extremely well written and detailed guide, I found his methods and way of thinking easy to follow and everything was laid out in an easy to read manner. It wasn't full of technical descriptions and complicated medical terms, Rob gets straight to the point and I couldn't stop reading once he got to the meat of his system.

Exercise

That dreaded word that nobody wants to hear. Don't worry, Rob is not very fond of long workouts or any sort of cardiovascular workouts. Rob's program relies on weights and can be easily completed in as little as 20-25 minutes a day, 3 times per week (2 times per week as you progress with his program).

The Fat Burning Furnace systems primary focus is on a complete body workout using specific exercises, that are performed slowly to maximize muscle fatigue. The benefits of this method is that you only need to do one set of the exercises rather than the standard 3 sets most people do and this allows you to complete the workouts much quicker.

All of the exercises are explained in detail in the program and photos are given to show you proper technique. With the Blow Torch system you can also get over 2 hours of videos of Rob performing the Blow Torch routine himself.

There is a break in routine for those people who have not exercised in years, followed by a Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced workout plan. The Blow Torch system is a super advanced workout which allows you to target specific areas of your body, this may be to intense for some people and the main program will give you more than enough to get a great workout.

Nutrition

The Fat Burning Furnace also covers nutrition and discusses what you should be eating to maximize your fat loss. Rob doesn't recommend fad diets and he explains a very simple way to watch what you eat and what your body needs. He explains many common nutrition perceptions and I found the topic, why you gain more weight back after you try a traditional diet extremely interesting and enlightening.

You get a sample meal plan for a day and a website featuring lots of free recipes is also provided. You also receive planners which you can print out and use to help track your progress.

Overall Review

The Fat Burning Furnace is a great program that actually delivered what they were offering and the author, Rob, is extremely thorough with his explanations and exercise guides. The complete program was easy to follow and well laid out even for beginners or those who haven't exercised in a long time.
