Some houses can be sold as they are. But many of them need some prep to make them presentable to invite prospective buyers. So after a little work on your house you can make some extra dollars. There are some key points you are to keep in mind while selling your house.

Make house Presentable: Your house should not be buyers repellent

See ads in newspapers, Internet to estimate market price of house like yours. Put some extra price, but remember you will get price according to the market not according to your imagination. Overpriced houses are not sold and on the other hand low priced house used to sell like hot cakes. You can consult real estate agents to determine the price of houses like yours in your area.
