The baseball underdog system is based on a law of averages. Over the long term, the baseball underdog system will beat the favorites about 4 games out of 9. That is only 44%. Thus, to make a good profit daily betting baseball underdogs, I suggest that you follow the following 3 simple criteria:

  1. Eliminate games in which the underdog has lost 3 or more games in a row and/or the favorite has won 3 or more games in a row.

  2. Eliminate games in which the moneyline odds on the underdog are greater than +150 or so.

  3. Eliminate games in which the underdog is facing one of the Top 20 pitchers in the league, according to earned-run average (ERA). This can be found in various newspapers (I recommend USA Today) or on various internet web sites.

However, please be make sure you do not overlook a pitcher who has been injured or just moved from a reliever to a starter role or otherwise has not racked up enough innings to make the primary list. That pitcher could still be among the league's better pitchers. In most cases, this exception applies mostly early in the season.

If you follow the 3 rules above that I laid out in the baseball underdog system, on a day with a full slate of as many as 15 games, you should still be left with between 3 and 9 underdogs on which to wager. In addition, I suggest that you put at least $20 on each game's moneyline.

Since odds can vary from one bookie or site to the next, you should shop around for the sports books giving you the est possible odds on any particular game. That is why I suggest that you have access to more than one sports books. Especially, when betting the moneyline!

In addition, your betting amount is based on a percentage of your personal betting bankroll. Just remember, that the percentage of your betting amount will increase as your bankroll builds.

I suggest using the following formula for setting the series amounts in The baseball underdog system: .0125 x your Bankroll = Series Amount. This means you bet 1.25% of your Bankroll on every game.

Just remember the following rules for the baseball underdog system and you will be a winner:

  1. Each day, check the American and National League schedules and automatically eliminate any games in which the moneyline odds on the underdogs are greater than +150 or so.

  2. Eliminate any games in which the underdogs have lost 3 or more games in a row or the favorites have won 3 or more games in a row. You can find this information in just about every newspaper.

  3. Eliminate any games in which the favored team's pitcher is among the Top 20 of the AL or NL in ERA.

  4. On a day with a full slate of games, you should be left with 3 to 9 games to bet on between the AL and NL. Make at least a $20 wager on the underdog in each game. Do NOT forget to shop around at all your favorite sports book for the best possible moneyline odds (I recommend 5Dimes or BetUS).

  5. Remember that before making the bet for the following day, to roll your profits into your

personal betting bankroll and to increase your wagers accordingly. (1.25% of your bankroll on each game).

Finally, if any games features 2 pitchers that are both on his league's Top 20 list, seriously consider playing under the total.

With the above 3 key rules in the baseball underdog system, you will have the edge you should need to be a winning sports bettor. All you need to do to be a winner using the baseball underdog system, is to pick 47% underdog winners to post a substantial profit.
