Tired eyes, puffy eyes, baggy eyes, bags under eyes….. These are some of the synonyms given to the eyes when they start looking tired and awful. When no one notices us even after wearing our best outfit and when we look older than we are, our alarms blow out. Yup it’s time to do something. We start with home remedies, and then use available creams in the market. But finally when nothing is changing we loose our hope, loose our confidence. Finally we opt Blepharoplasty. So, before going to opt Blepharoplasty let us know some important information about eyelid surgery this article is meant for people who are interested in cosmetic surgery. I tried to give some important information about eyelid surgery at one place. So let us start.
Cosmetic surgery used for removing baggy under eyes, puffy eyes etc…. is called Blepharoplasty. Let us get a clear idea of Blepharoplasty. Blepharoplasty cannot eliminate dark circles under the eyes but removes crow’s feet or other facial wrinkles.
When we are young we don’t concentrate much on our eyes or facial wrinkles. Then we will be much fond of make-up and clothes but as age increases all the things which we never noticed come into existence. So, when we talk about science of eyelid aging. Doctors say that as skin gets ages it loses its elasticity and excess skin will be collected in the upper and lower eyelids. This excess skin on the lower eyelid causes wrinkles and bulges and on the upper eyelids an extra fold which will be hanging down the eyelashes showing everyone that you already had many birthday parties.
So, the next thing is "Are you a good candidate for eyelid surgery" or still you have time to go. There is no minimum age but people with more than 14 years can have Blepharoplasty. Most are 35 years or older, but if your eye bags are hereditary then younger people can also have surgery.
So, now a more important thing is even after eyelid surgery your aging process is not going stop. But again good news is that the Blepharoplasty is usually very long lasting. Oh so calm down again. So, if lids are once again showing aging process, then never another Blepharoplasty but you can opt a forehead lift.
After reading this article doesn’t forget to post comments. People who already had their eyelid surgery, post their experiences and people who are thinking about Blepharoplasty post their concerns. In this way you can help other people.
