203K Loans can help get our country out of the recession. Most people buying homes today just buy the house as they find it and then spend a lot of money out of pocket the first year they are in the home painting the house, replacing the carpet, and maybe even replacing the dishwasher. Additionally, many people want to replace the kitchen in the house and they live there for years and never get around to it. These problems could be solved by financing these items into their loan at time of closing.

I know a real estate agent in Arizona and all that he does is try to get people to learn about the 203K Loan and what it can do for them. He really believes that this tool which the government has given us is the answer to a large portion of the problems in our country. Let's think about it. If all of those kitchens which the wives wanted replaced actually got replaced, and if all of those bathrooms got remodeled to look like something that is not 25 years old, then there should be plenty of work for everyone who actually wants to work.

The government would not have to keep extending unemployment since there would be jobs. Homes would get cleaned up, and people would have pride again in their neighborhoods and in themselves since they were actually earning a living.

I was also told that the 203K can also be used to refinance an existing residence and then the homeowners would actually use that money to improve the homes, and not spend the money paying off their cars or buying a new motorcycle. It seems that someone finally figured out what a dead end it was allowing people to take equity out of their homes for purposes other than related to improving the property in the long run.

What most people do these days seems is that they buy a house and then like to have it has their pet project to fix up together as a couple. As many of us can attest, more often than not I think the husband would be happier paying someone else to do those things around the house instead of always feeling like there is a project they should be working on.

I wonder how many real estate agents in the United States even know about this program and promote it to their customers? It's funny, a relative of mine is a real estate agent and he always says to me that one of the first rules of being a real estate agent is to look out for the best interests of their clients. He asked me what I thought what percentage of people out there actually tell the people they are helping about the 203k loan program? I was afraid to answer since I really didn't want to know.

It's amazing that the government has given us such a great tool and that it is not front page news all the time? I was astounded to find out that people really could benefit from this program when they buy a house, and also as important, people who work on homes could benefit by actually having work doing something useful! I think everyone in the country should learn about this and that it should make front page news. Ask your neighbors about this program and see if they have heard about the 203k loan.

I love fishing in the Behring Sea which is my office. My four children mean the world to me. I love helping my brother-in-law Allen with Henderson Real Estate and his friends learn about the 203k loan.
