Why Medifast Weight Loss Program Works For Me

Medifast Weight Loss Program was the first diet plan that I tried. I did not try all other diet scheme as I was really skeptical in their effectiveness. I believe that these are just plain fads or money making scheme to duped people like me with our hard earned money. I was encouraged to try it when a dear friend of mine offered to should the initial expense in getting on the program. All I had to do so to seek medical consultation to detect contradictions and complications. So on with the program.
The program delivered what it had promised, that is to attain my ideal weight level. My statistics prior to the program were 5’7" tall, male and 43 years of age, my ideal weight should be anywhere from 120-150, I was 173 pounds at that time. So you can just imagine how huge I was then. It has been a year now since my first Medifast Weight meals and I am currently at 143 lbs. I can say that it really works for me. How? Let me tell you about it.
The first that I did was to agree with what my physician told me of the importance of weight loss. I am approaching the middle age range and at this stage, serious complications may start to develop because I am overweight. The doctor enumerated several ailments and abnormal conditions that may develop should I choose to ignore him. This was my first mind setting. I believe that I still have more years to come and to do this I must be healthy. So I took my friend’s offer. He accompanied me to a Medifast Weight Control center in the locality.
When I was informed of the process of a typical Medifast Weight Loss program, at first I found it very rigid. But once you set your mind and to will yourself that you can do it; you can will your way around the process. In the end, it was not rigid at all, just follow the meal plans and recommended dietary procedures and presto it is a no sweat process after all. In fact, I felt that I was not on a diet after all, since there were no modifications made with regard to meal times.
Lucky for me that I do not drink and smoke, that is why I have no problems in contraindications of the program. Instead, I focused more on monitoring and maintaining my progress. I always see to it that I have Medifast Weight meals stack at home. It is expensive, but I always think that medical expenses will be more expensive if I will not reduce my weight. I gave up some magazine subscriptions to offset the cost. Right now I am trying to engage myself with light exercises consistently. This is one area that I need more discipline and control.
Right now, I still visit MEDIFASTWEIGHT.COM to keep me abreast with their latest meal offerings. At the same time, I share my success stories with others, to encourage them to continue with their progress.
