Yes, You Do Want Green Skin!

Really, you do! No, you are not aspiring to be a Martian or Kermit the Frog - but you are aspiring to be healthy in every way. That includes making sure what you put on your skin is nourishing, not detrimental to your health. More and more research is being done on the effects of toxic products.
Do you realize that what you put on your skin absorbs into your bloodstream in 26 seconds? It is then found in every cell of your body. We all know (or are learning) that what we eat has a tremendous effect on our health, either good or bad – but think about this:
When we eat bad food, our liver and kidneys work overtime to detoxify the bad stuff as much as possible. But, when you slather that lovely-smelling body lotion all over your skin every morning after your shower there is no barrier to protect you. How about the shampoos and conditioners you rub right into your brain? The hair dyes, the suntan lotion, the skincare regimen you use on your face? Have you really thought about what you are putting on consistently, day after day?
If those products contain traces of chemicals (and they do), traces of roadkill (and they do), traces of pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones, animal by-products, mineral oil (and they do) – are you getting the picture? Layer upon layer of very, very harmful ingredients are going into your skin on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly basis. It’s no wonder that cancer has become the number one killer of American people.
I implore you, check the labels of what you are using. It is a well-known fact that most American-made personal care products contain large amounts of mineral oil. There are over 100 names for mineral oil, but some of them are: petrolate, petrolatum, paraffin oil, albelien, paroleine, oil mist, and many more……..
Mineral oil is banned as a personal care ingredient in Europe, as well as in all hospitals. The reason the USA still uses it is it is very inexpensive. What is Johnson’s baby oil? Pure mineral oil. We are saturating our babies with this very detrimental product right from their earliest days of their lives. I will write more on mineral oil in the future but one important think to know is that the molecular structure of mineral oil is too large to absorb into our cells, so it creates a barrier on the skin. Think of saran wrap. Your skin cannot breathe. What is the largest detoxifying organ we have? Yes, our skin. If it is covered over, it cannot breathe oxygen in and cannot detoxify the bad stuff out. If there is one thing you take away from this today, it is: Do not use products with mineral oil!!
