You can remove warts yourself at home. There are so many different ways to do it, and when you have a wart you want nothing more than to have it gone. But in many cases it may be located somewhere that it causes you pain. However, to remove it permanently and without a scar may be something that you find difficult.

Many products you can find to remove warts are offered as over the counter products. They may not always work to completely remove the wart for good though. Having a problem with warts coming back can be a pain. Plus many will have side effects that you really don't want to go through. Things like itching, bleeding, and of course pain.

Freezing the wart off is another way that you can remove warts. This product has been placed on the over the counter market now as well. So decide on whether you want your doctor to do this, or try one of the over the counter products first. Depending on where the wart is located may be the final decision of who does the freezing.

With this freezing method you may feel a bit of pain, and have a blister. But as long as the blister doesn't pop you shouldn't have any problems, and no scarring. You should be completely healed from this procedure within a week.

Also out there are many different natural ways that you can remove warts. Some people are going to think that these don't work, but they really will work to remove warts. So don't turn you head at any method.

Researching these different methods has led to many different methods being suggested, but one stood out. It was how to remove warts by using duct tape. Needless to say it isn't really a method that many people would recommend to others. For one it really sounds way too painful, but again, I did say don't turn your head at any method.

Personally there are all those other ways that you should try before you even think of trying out the duct tape one. But again the final choice is yours. Finding the right way to remove warts for one person may not be the right way for another person. Depending on the level of pain you can handle, it may knock out some of the methods. But look and see which ones you think would be the best for you.
