Hey Natural Beauties!

I just love, love, love the leave-in conditioner by Cantu. This is a deep penetrating leave-in treatment that is formulated with shea butter for severely dry or course hair.

When I first came across this product I was in my loc take-down process. I was about 3/4 of the way through and I was tired of wrinkly fingers & sore thumbs. I also needed more conditioner so I decided to try this product on a whim. It was the best thing I did for my loc take-down process and I explain more about that process in G2BN's Loc Take-Down Manual. Needless to say, I was hooked! A cousin of mine asked my recommendations on a conditioner for her hair as her hair is very coarse and I told her to try this product. I wanted to know if it would work for her as it did for me in my loc take down process, however, my hair is of the 3a type with a mix of 3b in the back and not coarse, so I was not positive of the results she would achieve.

Needless to say, she loved it! Swears by it really. She uses it on her hair as well as her daughter's hair. As I said earlier, I love this product. I use it on my daughter's hair for a deep conditioning after I take down her protective style and it always leaves her hair soft and manageable. It's great for detangling and a little goes a long way.

I was able to find this product at Wal-Mart, Walgreens and many beauty supply stores for about $5.00 on average in the united States.

*Note-I don't do a lot of heavy styling on my hair and I rarely use heat so I have no clue as to how it reacts as a heat protectant. I am only speaking from my experience and usage of this product. Results may vary for others.

If you happen to try it out, or have used it before, let me know what you think. I would love to hear your thoughts on this product!
