An exciting moment, another day, that place in time remembered for hours. A perfume, just for a second, slowly drifting on the air can be very evocative.
Perfume, cologne, and eau de perfume are the ultimate fragrance experience. You can look the world over or shop perfume for a more exotic fragrance to sweeten the smell of your skin. However, within a couple of hours or less, you will find yourself reapplying more perfume. NO MORE!
When perfumes are used properly, they will last a long time. This will give the wearer complete knowledge of the perfume intensity. Perfumes, and fragrances are created by combining different layers of fragrances called notes. Synthetically created in labs, the scents are produced from plant, fruit, and flower extracts. The top note quickly fades. The middle note, not so fast. The bottom note should last for about 24 hours. Here is one twist on how to get the most out of your perfumes. The only way to make your perfume last all day is to layer, layer, and layer. Immerse yourself in a scented bath. Oil your skin, then spray the perfume of choice onto moistened skin. Fragrances last longer on oilier skin and evaporate more quickly on drier skin. Following these tips will make fragrances last longer. The perfume will change with the wearer. The smell will be effected depending on where it is applied. Don't apply the perfume behind your ears, your sebaceous glands affect the perfume. Also your medication, hormonal changes, including menopause and pregnancy, even your diet can effect the perfume you wear. When trying on a new fragrance it is best to wait a few days if you have eaten garlicky or spicy foods. The changes in your diet will have an effect with the perfume on your skin. While taking your diet and hormones into consideration, not every perfume smell the same on everybody. You may love the romantic fragrance of floral body spray, the only way to find the scent that best compliments you is to try many. The best way to try a perfume is to spray some on the underside of your wrist, where your pulse is. The beating of the pulse keeps the scent warm which maximizes its intensity which allows you to get a true idea of what it smells like on you.
Just because you tried a certain perfume before and didn't like it, doesn't mean you will never wear it. Try it again. Your body changes and the perfume may react differently, now, with your skin. It may not appeal to you today; but in a month, you try it again and it compliments you. Perfumes are as individual as you are.
