Take Your MLM Opportunity AWAY From Prospects And They Will Beg You To Join!

Imagine this...You're part of the biggest MLM on earth. The pay plan makes millionaires every other month, the product REALLY DOES sell itself, and you leave up line meetings and conference calls with goose bumps and butterflies.
Six months and 41 appointments later, you are Picasso drawing "the plan", Van Gogh painting "the picture" and John the Baptist spreading "the word"...
Your friends think you're crazy, your family asks if you're on drugs and your mommy is the only new distributor on your team--she needed a deal on cleaning supplies. You sheepishly cash your first commission check...
drum roll
$3.70...You feel like a living whoopi cushion...Sound familiar? It happened to me. Deflated, demoralized, hopeless -- I quit the following month. That was 13 years ago. Here's a little secret. Pay attention, this is big.
The #1 reason you struggle with signing up distributors...they don't see the VALUE in your opportunity. You see it - they don't. Period.
There are many reasons--so many in fact, you and I can't discuss all of them here. Some of them are beyond your control. The good news? There is a MAJOR reason that you CAN control.
I'm about to suggest something that will make your up line cringe, quake and possibly scream. Stay with with me now...Do NOT show your opportunity to everyone. In fact, TELL them they're probably NOT a FIT.
It's all about psychology. Remember when your parents denied things from you? Staying out late? Dating that boy? Drinking alcohol? What did your mind automatically do as a reflex? Exactly-you figured out a way to make it happen!
Your parents took something away-and you mentally leaned forward and wanted it all the more! Learn to do this with your prospects and you'll sign people up in droves. Tilt the psychology of the opportunity in your favor. This works for a couple reasons.
First, it puts VALUE back in your opportunity. Everyone hears about MLM nightmare stories-recruiting friends, embarrassing conversations in elevators, showing the plan to EVERYONE. Think about this--if everyone in America had an original copy of the Constitution what do you suppose each copy would be worth? Certainly nowhere near the value of the ONE copy in existence -- essentially, priceless.
Second, your opportunity is now the "forbidden fruit." Instead of verbally and emotionally CHASING your prospect from across the table at Starbucks, get them to LEAN towards you.
Here's how that might sound: "John, thanks for agreeing to meet me today to talk about a business opportunity. But, I think I need to apologize...I got to thinking on the way over here that with your current situation and the nature of this business, I'm not really sure you'd be a fit. Can I just buy you lunch?"
What do you think John's brain says? It reacts by CHASING the opportunity-"What do you mean, 'not a fit'"..."I'm a go-getter"..."Bull#$%&...I'll show you." John responds with "What do you mean? Why don't you show me what you've got and I'll decide if I'm a fit!"
You tilt the psychology of the exchange in your favor. You transform your opportunity into a forbidden fruit that your prospect cannot help but WANT to join.
Practice this approach, master the psychology, tilt the balance toward YOU and your MLM business will explode with growth! You improve your credibility, increase the perceived value of your opportunity, and have prospects chasing you instead of vice versa.
