The Master Cleanse Recipe is considered one of the costs saving and easiest to prepare. You can simply purchase the ingredients of the lemonade at a neighborhood grocery or health supermarket. Based on 60 oz of lemonade to prepare the lemonade, you would need these ingredients:
a. Around 40 lemons
b. 2 bottles of cayenne pepper powder
c. Grade B maple syrup
· Pure, clean and filtered water
· Sea salt (not iodized)
When getting the ingredients, it would be best if you can get organic ingredients. This is because organic ingredients do not have any additional preservatives, pesticides, fertilizers or artificial preservatives. All these unwanted substances will add a toll to your body and add on to the toxins in your body. Why would you want to add more toxins in your body when you are going to detox your body?
If you are buying bottled distilled water, it may not be a good choice either because you don't know how clean or distilled they are. Avoid buying mineral water as the minerals in the mineral water may hinder the detoxification process when you are on the mater cleanse. Alternatively, you can purchase your own distilled water filter to ensure you have quality and safe water.
Do not buy concentrated bottled lemon juice because these bottled lemon juice may have a lot of sugar and preservatives. Getting fresh lemons would preserve all the nutrients and vitamins the lemons have.
What and how to prepare the lemonade concentrate? It is best that once you wake up, prepare the lemonade at the first thing. Some experts argue that we should only prepare the lemonade when we are about to drink the lemonade. But doing so will be very troublesome.
Slice the lemons and juice them in a juicer or similar equipment. Depending on the size of the lemons, you may need 3-6 lemons for the whole day. Pour sixteen (16) tablespoons of lemon juice into a container. Add the same amount of maple syrup into the container, and mix. Set aside the mixture in the refrigerator to keep it fresh.
Just before you wan to drink the lemonade, take out the mixture from the fridge and you can add in with the other ingredients. You can use either warm or cold water depending on your preferences. And you can add in 1/10 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. You can then consume this lemonade.
Do try your best to finish the whole lemonade within 8 hours as the lemon would turn bad if it is left out too long. It would be best that you can estimate accurately how much you would want to drink the lemonade in the day. Or you can make some more lemonade after 8 hours to ensure the freshness.
As a rule of thumb, prepare the lemonade with the same amount of lemon juice and maple syrup (2 each) with 10 oz of water and 1/10 of teaspoon of cayenne pepper for one serving.
