Choosing right hair color shades is very crucial for having a great hair color. You can not expect that you can look equally beautiful in any hair color. Blonde is much happening color now. But not every one looks good in blonde hair color. Fair skinned toned people can apply this color but dark complexioned people should avoid this hair color. So, getting hair color right is not a rocket science. What you have to aware that your hair color shades must complement your skin tone and attitude. You have to figure it out whether your hair needs a whole hair color make over or highlights. Multidimensional hair texture can also be a good choice for fashion conscious people.
I have said about blonde hair color in the earlier paragraph. But always pick a blonde shade that matches with your skin tone. For example, sallow skin tone with yellowish undertones must avoid deep golden hair color. If you are pinkish fair then you should avoid strawberry shades. Always try to choose a color that contrasts your skin color.
If you are thinking to go brown your hair then remind the following tips. If you are pale and wish to do your hare darker than the current shades, you should be careful about very dark tones. Do not apply more than a couple of shades darker than your normal hair color. It is also an advice for coloring blonde hair color. Any color should not be done more than a couple of shades darker or lighter than your normal hair color. An applying dark shade which is darker than your current shade may look like odd and abnormal. So, be careful.
Now highlight and lowlight are other fashions. Highlight is doing your hair colored instead of whole hair. Color some portion of your hair. Lowlight is also the same but the opposite. Short hair looks better if color is done on whole hair. Highlight is not so smart choice for short hair. But medium hair and long hair look beautiful with some highlight over it. You can highlight your hair around your face or you can go for normal highlight. Option is totally yours. Highlight lasts more two or three months which is more than whole hair coloring. Highlights are of four types. Basic foil highlights, baliage or 'hair painting', chunking or 'piecing' and low lighting.
You do not always need to go to the beauty parlor. You can color your hair by yourself. Now different types of coloring kits are available in market. Different kinds of brands and products are available. Buy a kit and do it yourself. This will cut your expenditure and also you’re precious time. L‘Oreal Natural Match Hair Color, Godrej hair color kit, Garniar hair color kit are easy and helpful.
If you are doing it yourself and it is your first time then you should apply some semi permanent color because semi permanent color can be erased easily with two or three washes. But if you try some permanent color and finally you do not like it then you can’t help but repent. So, it is better to use semi permanent hair color first. If you want to hide your grey hair then you can use permanent color.
