Craps is a casino game that has its roots dating back to the Crusades. It was later made popular by the French. The modern game of craps is a modification of the English game called Hazard. Craps is a game of dice and can be played against other players or the bank. There are different types of bets that can be placed in this game. There can be Pass Line Bets, Don't Pass Line Bets, Come Bets, and Don't Come Bets. The bet odds in this game are Actual Odds, Odds Paid, and house Edge. While casinos vary from one another in terms of the Odds Paid ratio, but the Actual Odds don't vary. Craps is the loudest game among all the casino game and involves a lot of shouting and hollering. With the advancement in technology, the game can now be played on mobile phones also.
Initially, the players place Pass Line Bets. Then the craps shooter rolls the dice, which is called "Come Out Roll". Pass Line Bets result in instant winning if your Come Out Roll is 7/11 and instant losers in case of 2/3/12. The left over numbers are called Points when they come up. When the shooter gets a point, he/she continues to roll until either the Point or the number 7 come up. If Point comes before 7, all Pass Line Bets will win and vice versa. Nothing happens until one of these two come up and the game can go on for ages.
This is a game where multiple players can cheer for the same outcome. It is important to establish a pattern to be followed for the game. Since it is a very fast game, raising the tempo is very important. It is important to raise bets as one keeps winning and lower when losing. Before starting a game or adopting a new strategy, a player must play in the practice mode. It is also very important to watch the shooting style of the other players. A player must go along with someone with a controlled dice movement.
The game of craps is exhilarating and really saps the energy of the players. The Internet version of the game is still in its nascent stage. However, with the ever increasing demand for the game, innovations are being made almost everyday and the future of online craps will certainly be something interesting to follow. It is a game of luck and strategy and the person who has his/her eyes and ears open at all times will come out trumps.
