Natural skin care remedies refer to treatments made at home for many types of skin-related problems like acne, spots, aging skin and wrinkles. These remedies are very effective as compared to topical and oral remedies available on the market because they make use of all pure and natural substances.

Mix 60 grams flour of gram pulse, half teaspoonful of turmeric powder and raw milk and 8-10 drops of mustard, sesame or olive oil and make a thick paste. Now apply this on the face, neck, arms, hand, feet, elbows and knees. After 5-10 minutes when this face starts drying up rub it with the palms and remove. Wash all the parts of the body with warm water and wipe with a soft towel. This makes the skin clean, silky, soft, shining and bright.

Orange Face Mask: Crush orange peel and blend it with 2 tbsp of milk. Add two drops of honey to enhance the glowing effect.

Watermelon moisturizer - to create this moisturizer, take a slice of watermelon and a tablespoon of lemon juice. Pour the lemon juice over the watermelon and put it in the fridge for about 22 minutes. Take out the watermelon and then cut it up into small parts and place all over your face. Aside from moisturizing your skin, the cool temperature of the watermelon helps reduce puffiness.

Vegetable Mask - Try this great vegetable mask to refreshen and add nutrients: Mix half a tomato that has been crushed after taking out the seeds and skin with a teaspoon of mashed cucumber, 3 crushed mint leaves, 3 teaspoons of oatmeal powder and 2 teaspoons yoghurt. Keep it on your face for about ten minutes for fresh, healthy looking skin.

Banana Pack - This is an excellent home remedy that simply consists of some crushed bananas and a couple of drops of honey. Honey is a great addition to any home remedy because it is capable of hydrating the skin. Bananas are used because not only do they promote softness, but they also promote smoothness of the skin.

Drinking plenty of water and eating a healthy diet is as important as using high quality skin creams and masks made from natural ingredients. If you do not drink sufficient water, your whole body will suffer for it and your skin will be dry and sallow.

Wash your face no more than twice a day with a gentle cleanser formulated for dry skin. Washing more often can escalate dryness, eliminating natural oils. Tip- Use mineral water instead of tap water to wash the face.

Use a sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun, if you are going to bee too much time exposed to it.

Vitamin C and E are very helpful for the skin and also have some important anti aging properties. Some of those natural ingredients contain anti oxidants that are very important to prevent oxidation due to free radical damage.

On the other hand you can improve your skin and keep it healthy by drinking a lot of water, eating healthy foods, taking multivitamins, using skin care home remedies and natural skin care creams.
